Ukrainian military intelligence (HUR) published an interactive 3D model and component breakdown of the Russian S-71K Kovjor cruise missile, developed by the United Aircraft Corporation for the Su-57 fighter. HUR said the missile carries a 250-kilogram warhead, uses inertial navigation without terrain-matching guidance, and contains foreign electronic components from the United States, China, Switzerland, Japan, Germany, Taiwan, and Ireland. It was first used in combat in late 2025.

Moscow imposed entry bans on European officials who participated in decisions on military aid to Ukraine, responding to the 20th EU sanctions package against Russia. The Russian Foreign Ministry said the measures targeted representatives of EU institutions, member states, and other European countries involved in decisions on weapon supplies, sanctions, maritime restrictions, and proceedings against Russian officials. The EU said it would continue its support for Ukraine.

Russia struck Odesa overnight, damaging port infrastructure including warehouses, storage tanks, and a vessel under Palau flag. Both sides continue exchanging massive strikes as the conflict intensifies.

Ukrainian forces struck the Yaroslavl oil refinery in a major overnight attack deep inside Russian territory, causing a large fire. Russia reported downing 203 Ukrainian drones overnight, with Sevastopol hit hard in one of the largest attacks.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky accused Russia on April 26 of weaponizing the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant, Europes largest nuclear facility, speaking at an international conference on nuclear safety. According to Zelensky, Russian forces have been shelling Ukrainian cities from the plant area, storing weapons within the facility, and mining its perimeter. The plant has experienced 14 complete blackouts since Russian occupation began. The city of Energodar is effectively held hostage. The IAEA has repeatedly called for a demilitarized zone around the plant.
