HUR says about 8,500 North Korean troops are in Russia, including drone operators

Ukraine's Defence Intelligence (HUR), via Vadym Skibitskyi as relayed by Military Summary and Intel Slava, said about 8,500 North Korean personnel are currently in Russia, including roughly 400 drone operators and 1,000 engineers and sappers, mostly in Kursk Region. Zelensky says overnight missiles hit Kyiv railway infrastructure

Ukraine drone wave hits Samara region; two children killed in Yeysk

Russia's Defence Ministry said it downed 457 Ukrainian drones overnight. Governor Veniamin Kondratyev said two children were killed and two adults injured in a strike on Yeysk in Krasnodar Region. Ukraine's military said it struck an oil refinery in Samara Region, while retailer Ozon reported a warehouse fire there and evacuation of more than 500 employees. Belgorod officials reported two dead and 13 injured.

Kryvyi Rih mall strike death toll rises to 16, nine still missing

Ukrainian rescuers continued searching the wreckage of a shopping centre in Kryvyi Rih hit by a Russian double-tap drone strike on Friday. Local officials said 16 people were killed and 130 injured, including 23 children, with nine people still missing. President Volodymyr Zelensky called the attack "cynical and despicable" and said the second strike targeted emergency workers.
